X-E5 - separate settings for AF-S and AF-C modes?

Now that X-E5 has fewer dedicated controls than my old X-T2, I was wondering whether it is possible to dedicate AF-S and AF-C modes to completely separate settings. I'd love to hear anyone's feedback and experience so far.

What I have on mind is the following:

When the switch is in AF-S position, I want the camera to always be:
  1. set to a single AF point of defined size
  2. have Auto ISO with min. shutter speed of 1/60
  3. set to a single image drive mode
  4. have face detection on
When the switch is in the AF-C position, I want it the camera to be:
  1. set to a a wide/tracking AF mode
  2. have Auto ISO with min. shutter speed of 1/400
  3. set to a CH burst with 8fps
  4. have eye detection on
So far I was able to figure out how to make #1 from my list to work. You can set the dedicated AF mode under AF/MF --> AF MODE SETTINGS --> AF-S (disable Wide/Tracking) and --> AF-C (disable everything except Wide/Tracking). This will make the AF mode to switch accordingly once you switch from AF-S to AF-C and back.

I don't see any way to automatically switch between #2, 3, and 4. ISO and min. shutter speed can be handled by 2 different Auto ISO settings but there seems no way to assign them automatically to AF-S and AF-C modes.

Q Menu helps a bit - you can have 2 separate settings to change simultaneously Auto ISO and face/eye detection settings, but you can't change Drive settings this way.

Am I missing something?

Probably can't be done with an X-E5. What you want would be accomplished with the customizable presets with a PASM camera, but as the X-E5 sports a mechanical AF mode switch that I don't think can be overridden with a preset, to do what you want, you'll likely have to switch both the AF mode and and select a preset.

Thanks, I figured that while all of this is possible in other PASM cameras, it's not really doable in most of the Fuji cameras. I was hoping that since X-E5 has simplified external controls compared to the X-Tn series, some more automation would be possible.

Not ideal, but you I think can get options 1, 2 and 4 in two different film simulation (i.e. FS1 for AF-S and FS2 for AF-C), leave drive in CH.

Then you can select AF-S and FS1. Or AF-C with FS2 . You may end up with extra fotos in your AF-S

Just an idea
