Inside Device Manager windows, i uninstall the device, unplug/replug USB cable to relaunch the detection process. After driver installation, I start REMOTE and A7R2 is in the list
Now it's working.
Only a simple driver refresh needed

I've just acquired an A7RII on which I've installed the latest v4.01 firmware and I'm trying to use Tethering as I already do with my a6400.
First of all, I checked that the cable works with my a6400 and that the version of Imaging Edge is the latest version. Everything works correctly, so neither the cable nor the software are involved.
Before testing, I turn off Google drive and activate the PC remote on the A7RM2 box.
I plug in the device, set it to Auto (or whatever) and Windows 10 Pro recognizes it as ILCE-7RM2 in Device Manager/Mobile devices.
I launch Remote from Imaging Edge Desktop
A warning window appears telling me "the camera is not connected, please check the USB connection or the network". I can't use the Remote program (although everything works with the 6400).
I give Capture One a try and plug in the camera. Immediately, Capture One detects it and tethering works perfectly.
Since Capture One is a trial version, I want to stick with Imaging Edge Desktop.
Any idea where the problem might be coming from?
