Windows Slideshow

I am looking for a Slideshow program to run on my Windows 7 tablet Notebook. Here are the simple requirements:

• no scripting or production, just specify a folder of JPGs and optionally an MP3 file or directory for background music, and choose the transitions and press GO

• I really want multiple tiles so that more than one photo shows at any one time. The oldest would then be replaced with the next in the queue. Thus if we had 4 quadrants, then Quadrant 1 is replaced with new image, then Quadrant 2, then three, and so on. This way the viewer can linger on a picture, or look for the next picture.

• Auto scaling. Use the entire screen for the photos.

Things I do NOT wish to do:

• Produce DVD or TV playable movies, ditto Youtube, or Flash movies.
• Choose individual time for each image

There are a whole bunch of inexpensive (but not free) slideshow programs. Most of them allow a free download and install, usually with limitations and/ or "trial version" shown on the screen.

Not sure if I have seen the particular thing you describe but it may well be out there.

Download a bunch, try them, and buy the one that works for you.

I use MySlideShow, but it may not be best for your needs. They are all about $50.

MS download free it is as easy as load and play or you can add a lot fo stuff to it

fast stone image viewer...does everything you want and more and is free.....

FastStone Image Viewer does look like a good program, but I can't see any way to display more than one image at a time. Can you enlighten me?

It may not say it will run on 7 but try it It did not say it would run on vista but it did

under view...slide show is an option....also has provision for audio sync track selections and timing as well as transitions also runs fine on Win 7, Vista and XP 32 bit or 64 bit....I finally gave them some money as I use it alot....it is nagware...but worth it.

I also think FastStone is a good choice...it does 1 and 3, but not 2, AFAIK.
