why releasing R Mark II after only 2 yeras

For what its worth, in the real world today people rarely look at photos on computers. If it looks good on Instagram or Facebook seems to be all people care about. That being said, pixel count is way over rated compared to having the best AF system possible coupled with the glass to get the shot.
At some point you need a big enough screen to determine if the subject is in focus. Or, in other words, when all you use to view your pics is a phone screen, the AF system doesn't matter that much too. When Instagram or Facebook is all what matters there is a HUGE error margin for AF. Heck, you can go MF if the bar is set that low. Slap on a 28mm with a good old focus distance scale and you're good to go.

However for those that are actual in the business of buy and selling photos, that's really the only audience that matters. I would think that audience goes way beyond just using the cellphone, etc.

I would rate the Proper Glass and Good AF as the top needs of today's photographers. More MP are always appreciated for those that need or want it for their case usages.
