Why no prime lens with Image Stabilization

I have no issues with resurrecting old threads. I was looking for stabilized lenses from SLRs so I ended up here. Even if this thread is old the problem is still the same. Over the last years only very few stabilized primes where brought to the table. Most are long lenses that are not very bright (F2.8+). There are some exceptions like the TAMRON 35mm 1.8 but overall the situation didn't changed. Since years I'm wishing for IBIS in most cameras but there is still no APSC mirrorless with IBIS. I highly value image stabilization since I use my primes a lot in dim light and I argue with the point that short primes don't need stabilization.

In short I think this topic is not outdated.
