So now you’re unhappy with point-by-point responses, which are commonly used to clarify and prevent confusion. The suggestion is for youAt the bottom of the page you will see “feedback” where you can make suggestions to the site’s coordinators. It's called a suggestion. The point by point response makes it difficult for others to respond to the conversation.Instead of “adding some pep” to the forum you seem to be complaining about it - a lot.Next we'll tackle the point by point response instead of the bottom response which is more annoying than the single photo thread.Aren’t we fortunate! As I stated before I was asked to rejoin DpReview to add some pep to a couple of forums by posting photos and answering questions.Few really take time looking at photos and writing responses. But for those who do, it is far better to be presented with one photo than 10 or 20 at a time.So it's people's short attention spans. I haven't seen any difference with responses in threads with multiple photos or with just one....because it’s difficult to make comments on a large group of photos besides ”nice series”.Instead of making several single photo posts a day why don't you just start a "photos of the day or week" thread.
When you post a single photo it gives people a chance to look at it carefully, take some time with it, peruse it and make a considered response. Otherwise it’s just click, click, click from one photo to another.
IMO, best to let people go to your gallery or website to peruse all your work if they want to.
I have liked many of your photos, but have found it difficult to comment with the sheer volume you have submitted here.
Why are you posting here?Have you looked at other’s’ photos, considered them and responded? What kind of response are you expecting from your own series?
None up to your standards?I've looked at others but rarely found any worth commenting on
Not if you are respectful and considerate about what you write, like many here are. This is a community of photgraphers.because I know the arguments that would start after giving constructive criticism.
So you only consider series of photos, never single ones? Each to his own - whatever.Sorry, a single random photo doesn't do it for me.
See you're already blowing this conversation out of proportion.
Any other complaints, to “add some pep” to the forum?
