Where I work, where do you work......

when I come into my managers office (air conditioned), I go directly to my power user PC (with 1 Gig of RAM) and a card reader (with Adobe PS) - so who would need anything else!!!!!

I also have a picture of the building I work in (in my background).

As the host of challenge 28, I finally decided to show the forum where their winning host works (meaning myself - being the winner of challenge 27). My wife graciously took the photo of me in front of the building that I work in.

Since I'm the host of Challenge 28, by viewing me in front of my workplace below, please don't comment or reply to this message on how much money I make and how it's no wonder how I could afford the best equipment that helped me win Challenge 27.

Where I work - 1 pic (below). Taken with the Olympus c5050z.

ok - so this was a joke. Hope you all had a good laugh. I actually did take this pic with my 5050z though. I kindly asked the pizza if I could take his pic and he agreed (although he didn't verbally tell me so, because Pizza's dont' talk).

does that count? Please? I can't play otherwise
Bill, GREAT photo of the Longhorn.

DH is in a different workplace every day. Here are a couple homes he was in recently. His handy work is flooring (large wood staircase & surrounding floor) and the carpet runner (made and installed it) on the other staircase.

Pictures are less than desirable. I was using my poor WA lens that I've dropped no less than 3 times on concrete! No outward signs of damage but the pictures aren't what they should be.

Here’s mine, Bill. (Been waiting for a break in the weather in central NJ) It’s the historic Beatty House on Vandeventer Avenue here in Princeton. Unfortunately or fortunately – depending upon your point of view – we’ve outgrown the house and will soon move into an office building around the corner on Nassau Street. Also, as you can see from the sign, the Historical Society of Princeton, which owns the house, is offering it for sale. Nevertheless, we’ve all enjoyed working in this landmark house for nearly five years.

Sorry ‘bout the burn-out in some areas. The late June afternoon contrast was too much for even the C-5060 to handle. (Any thoughts on how that could have been avoided, other than taking the picture at a different time?)

For anyone who’s interested, here’s a quote from the Historical Society web site:

“Beatty House (c. 1780)

Originally located on Nassau Street opposite Bainbridge House, Beatty House was the home of the Hudibras Tavern proprietor, Jacob Hyer, who is thought to have built the house c.1780. In 1816 the house was purchased by Colonel Erkuries Beatty. The Marquis de Lafayette is known to have spent the night of July 15 in the house on his tour of the United States in 1825. After Beatty's death in 1823, the building housed Miss Hanna's Boarding School for young women. James Vandeventer, merchant, and longtime Princeton resident, purchased the house and moved it to its present location in 1875. The house is owned by the Historical Society of Princeton.”

This is a great thread; let’s keep it going.

Best, Ed

Got a picture of where you work..... Lets see it....
I work in the building in the background The Fedex AFW Hub.

having your fly open during an interview is a little embarassing, your office is a warren. Using old kleenex boxes as slippers by any chance?
