What type of rechargables you use with the GRD

I don't bother, the off the shelf aaa's last about 70 shots. I
doubt the rechargable ones give half this performance.

Thanks for your reply Jonathan. 70 shots is too little for me, that's why I'm looking for something that lasts a fair bit longer. Was hoping rechargables would help. I dug out a set of old GP 850mAh, but they were disappointing... How it wish it had the F10's (my other cam) stamina.

I highly recommend Sanyo's new ENELOOP cells, AAA 800mA. The
exiting thing about ENELOOP cells is the very low late of
self-discharge. After one year of storage 85% of the charge is
still there. They aren't very expensive, either. More info here:

Sony S600, Sony H1, WCON-07, TCON-17,
Thanks Herbert, will check these out. How many shots do these batteries normally last you?

Hi

I took my GRD to the world cup in June/July, and the only power source I had was 2 x Energizer 900mAh and 2x Duracell 1000mAh.

Flash recycle time was the most noticeable difference. Flash recycle was about 10 seconds. Took a mixture of RAW and jpg, and i could fill a 1 gig card on 1 set of batteries.
