Weird Powerdirector problem…

I’ve been using PD for years, and 365 for the past 2 yrs, editing 4K from GoPros and my iPhone. I recently moved from windows to a new Mac mini M2, and installed the Mac version of PD365. Today, I imported a 4K video from my iPhone (12 pro max), and for some reason, it imported as a 1080 video that plays back 4x too slow (ie, video length is 4 times as long as it should be). I can up the video speed by 4x so it plays right, but it is still 1080 instead of 4K. I cannot find any project settings or other setting that might be causing it…

Any help would be appreciated - thanks.

I imported two more videos from my iPhone. One of the videos imported correctly at 4K, while the first two came in as 1080p. I’m stumped…

Good to hear.

Now tell us, what was the reason, and how you solved the problem. Maybe someone experiences the same problem in the future, and a simple internet search may - wham! - deliver your answer.

Don”t be shy. I guess most of the users of this forum have had their own measure of - ahem - “experiences”; maybe even twice or more (true experience is, that you recognize your error, AFTER doing the same once more;-)
