I got these circle artifacts plus overexposure in all my images after first mounting my newly purchased TTArtisan 75mm/2.0 on my Panasonic S9:

TTArtisan 75mm/f2 circle artifacts

I was afraid that my copy of the lens was defective because turning the camera off and remounting the lens didn't change anything. Fortunately, the problem was gone when I mounted the lens on my S5ii and then back on the S9.

My guess is that the lens had some internal calibration test protocol enabled in its firmware, and maybe it needed to be mounted on a camera with a mechanical shutter to bring it back to standard operation.

I'm just sharing this for other people who may be having the same problem with their lens.

That is the strangest lens story I've read in a long time! Can't wait to read the replies from people who have had something similar happen, if there are any.

Very strange, mine came just yesterday and I have taken some pics with it on my S1, but didn't see anything like this. I have yet to try it on my S5.

*Edit: tried it on my S5 with no issues :-|

Thanks for sharing yoiur findings. It will be interesting to hear from anyone else using it on a an S9.

Looking foward to any further thoughts on the lens or sample photos from it.

Hello, I have the same problem. Today I installed the new firmware on S9 (1.4) and the problem started, you can see the photo. Unfortunately I don't have another camera to test your approach.

EDIT v1: the problem is solved - I got information from my local lens dealer that I should try to disable Vignetting Comp., I turned it off and so far it seems to be OK.
