Hi phototech,

I happen to be in my backyard and saw a leaf fall into the bird bath. That became the container for the leaves and water.
thanX for looking!
Hi All,
I know it has been done before, but I wanted something with Fall
colors. There are very few leaves here that have turned, so I made
use of what I could find.

200mm f/4 Micro + SB80DX and a little ps7 lighting effect.
thanX for looking!

Kris,
I must stress that this was setup.

The leaves were weighted down with metal washers. A small Elmer's glue bottle was suspended upside down above the bird bath on a tripod. I put a small pin hole in the bottom of the bottle to allow air to replace the water dripping out of the adjustable top. It worked very well, I could get a steady drip at any rate I desired.

I did use a "computer generated" effect in ps7 (Lighting Effect) on a seperate layer, but only slighty.
How did you get the leaves to look so flush with the bottom surface
of the bird bath? It looks as if they were "computer generated."
I love the image, however. Very nice work.
