Video output in record?

Does anybody know if the MX-2700 supports video out in the record mode? i.e. So one can use a monitor as viewfinder. (I realize that it is support in the playback/review mode).

Yes it does. The video output will show everything the on LCD when this is switched on. The picture is only as good as that of the LCD however.
