V1 Macro (Comment Needed)

Hi John,

I'm glad my supposition worked out. I haven't been able to try it yet, but I see from your photo that it worked quite well. Back to the older shots that I like and redo some of them again.

Thanks for letting me know. I'm also interested in any other techniques you come up with for the V3.

hi guys,

i had sleepless nite after seeing all your galleries...i am still struggling to take good macro like u guys...

saw a cute little butterfly in my garden this morning...below is the result with F32X (with a Stofen Omni type of cover), Hoya +10, F8.0, 1/1000, manual focus.



what do u think?

Waaay much better than the first pics! Is this done with a V1? What lens, filters? What kind of filter is Hoya +10 ? Really like the colors.

u need an extension tube, search old STF posting, a lot has been discussed or check this out http://www.2filter.com/prices/products/digitubes.html

Hoya +10 is a close up diopter http://www.thkphoto.com/products/hoya/oef-13.html
