Most of us, including Moose Peterson, aren't going send our camera to Nikon when it gets a grain of pollen stuck on the sensor. I am confident that Nikon engineers designed the stabilization gimbal to withstand sensor cleaning.

Agreed. I don't often need to do a wet clean and am usually able to deal with dust with the camera self-clean, a blower or a nudge with a brush followed by a blower.
Next time I'm invited to an NPS event where on-site free cleaning is offered I'll hand them my Z7 and watch what they do.
