Unable to upload

During last week I wasn't able anymore to upload new material in "my gallery" neither in "new contests". Apparently I'm not the only one... Is this going to be fixed ??

Check your MB volume of uploaded files: Did you exceed your 200 MB/ m limit?

Submissions to Challenges and your gallery are included in the total, unless I stand corrected,

Can't upload, got the Flash Player that appeared, restarted twice, no use.

Also got Google Chrome which I do not like. Any problem with the gallery if I remove it?

Click > Galleries> Upload to My Gallery

see the word Quota - just off center - there is a progress bar with your to date per month upload ( 200 MB/ m max) - this total includes all Challenges enties, ALL uploads , BTW - deleting files after upload DOES NOT reduce your total uploaded megabytes, it still counts in your 200 MB max..

- tell me what you see - it recharges to zero on the first of each month

Thanks, it's empty, have not uploaded for months. And still can't upload, same Adobe problem. Hope dpr will solve it. Removed Google Chrome, don't know if that will be a problem.

Have you tried Internet Explorer? ,

Have you tried uploading directly to the page and not to your gallery?

try it on this thread - see what happens? if that's a no go can you copy & paste links to your Flickr or other gallery?? Have you tried uploading to your gallery or entering challenges with a smartphone until they solve it - just ideas to try and help.

... could it be a Java update issue?

Looks good here, I know IE is drinking the Kool Aid, but sometime I use it as an emergency wrench ( impulse power) until my main engines get back to warp drive.

No kool aid here and as you see in the image only a small Cannon compared to your larger Canon. We just have to be patient patients and see what happens next?

I seem to remember another using having to switch browsers either to Chrome or Firefox. The new macOS and Safari will not work.

Hopefully they will get rid of Flash on DPR and all of us will be happy.

Other users are still unable to upload to galleries but are able to post by choosing inserting picture and normally when it does that, it auto adds to the user gallery, have you tried that as a temp work around ? It's an extra step but all post count in upload totals anyway - if it loads in the gallery and you don't want the post - delete it - Chrome here - never an upload issue - ever. Use the most efficient browser for your needs.

I've never seen a picture added to a post from my computer auto add to my gallery.
Perhaps there is a setting I've missed?

I have no problems uploading pictures. I was just curious about your "auto adds" comment.

Hi Joel sorry I botched that a little , its not any upload, it's challenge uploads, which I think are auto added - try entering a challenge and see if it auto adds to your gallery?

Its a bummer but you can withdraw from the challenge and this way you could a gallery upload.

Yesterday I tried the challenge-entry route; it didn't work either! I do know a work-around that should work: I can send a photo to my Windows PC at the office and upload it from that computer.

A tough slog but you will be operational ... that is odd as all get out - is it possible this is a Java issue? or other non flash update a MS issue throwing wrenches in non MS gear ( and their own old OS's) as they love to do?

The person you are responding to said he, "cannot upload to my gallery using the latest macOS and Safari", but can when using his Windows PC at work.

My degrees are in chemistry and International Law & International Relations , unlike your degrees in computing science. You are by far the better educated man for helping users this thread. I do not deny this and make no claim to the science degrees you have.
