Now that is a great use of a drone. Awesome shot and incredible colors.

A short video I made of the flight.

Nice, Thank you for sharing.

Was that with the Mini2 or maybe it doesn't make a difference. But I thought that with the Mavic2 and 3 having better cameras that it would make a difference.

We're you flying maximum altitude. My sense is for that particular photo, the higher up the better. More land would have been seen giving it a more worldly sense.

I really don't think going higher would be limited by the laws if you started yout flight on a hilltop if there is any hill or mountain near there. That would make for an even better photo.

I like the birds flying through, in the video. Adds a note of motion other than the drone panning. Nice work.

Thank you! The shade of red in the clouds are just amazing!

Do you think a drone filter necessary then? I planned to buy a set but worried not often used.

If you find yourself shooting in bright/harsh light conditions a set of ND filters is going to be basic equipment for fixed aperture camera drones. Even when cloudy, but yet bright enough I use an ND filter. I would only consider not using an ND in true "Golden Hour", or low light conditions. There are ways to avoid filter use, but IQ results can be less than optimal.

Thank you for clearing my last doubts! That is definitely a yes then.
