Thank you so much Tim. I appreciate your comments here, and all of the comments you have given me throughout this series. It means a lot to me. I'm glad you liked Light and Shade. I was walking along....looking up, looking down, looking all around for a photo op, when I noticed the leaf and the acorn and the way the light was hitting the leaf.with us, Carol. You saw a lot more of fall than I did this year,
especially those vivid shots in NH and VT. Have to mention my
favorite here is "Light and Shade", great eye there.
Thank you so much Doc for your kindness and for looking and responding to all of my recent posts. it means a lot to me and I'm so glad you "ate them up"!And do you think we are happy to see the end of these wonderful
pictures? I think everyone has eaten them up. Thanks for sharing
your trip into autumn with us. My favorite here is "Reflections from
the underside" . I like the way the leaves glow.
Hello Rick!Hello Carol
I'm glad you enjoyed these and I really appreciate you stopping to comment on them. Thank you!!!!!Wow, the first image especially - beautiful! I like how you've framed
the shot with the tree in sillouhuette surrounded by gold. I like the
cranberry harvest also.
I am so appreciate to you for stopping to comment on my posts lately. I'm so glad you enjoyed not only this set, but the others. I looked at your gallery and you have some wonderful photos by the way. It was a treat!Carol, wow, they are all great. I've enjoyed your fall very much.
Thanks!

vicariously through your beautiful photos.

I totally understand that Dave. But, I felt the dead leave was a symbol of the end of the season for me and I found it to be fittingCarol - The only one I did not like is the object, not your
photography. A very dead leaf with holes. Too much "death" for me -
that's why I'm a "Spring person".
Thanks, he was fun to shoot. But the others are so beautiful. Especially the seagull with the out
of focus background, and the foilage following. Just gorgeous.
I look forward to seeing it. Please post it for me!I'm going to the other ocean soon and I'll try to get a bird without
everything being in focus!
I don't know about the commercials but there are a lot of cranberry bogs around here.Is this where they shoot the Cranberry commercials?
Happy Halloween to you too Dave!Carol, Thanks so much, and Happy Halloween,
LOL........no, he was the real deal. If you notice though, he has a broken foot. I was upset when I saw it, but he didn't really seem to be in pain and he looked otherwise healthy. His face showed no sign of pain so that made me feel better.Carol,
Thanks for another great set of photos. The cranberry bog shots are
really unique. Is that seagull stuffed?
You are too kind!!! Thank you so much. I appreciate all of the comments you have given me during this series and it means a lot to me.Another excellent set Carol..Its too bad since all of your fall pics
are superb, ( I will be throwing in a few of them in my next posts--a
tribute to you--)..i Just took a look at your picassa Gallery.. A few
familiar pictures..overall I was amazed by the quality of the pics in
every set

You have a way with words Dov, and I always appreciate your comments. Thanks so much!WOW again, this has been one of the set of posts I have most enjoyed.
The scenery is beautiful, the composition great and the chice of
subjects tasteful. In this set it's impossible to choose a favourite,
so I won't, I like them all and each touches you in it's unique way.
I agree.....but all good things must come to an end. I'm already looking forward to next years foliage! Thanks for sharing something I'll probably never see 'live', and a
pity it's come to an end![]()
Thanks......that was my thoughts exaclty on that shot and I loved the play of light that was put before me. The dead leaf was the perfect symbol for the end of the season. You're going out with a bang Carol. A lovely set to finish up with,
and unlike Dave, I quite like the leaf on the ground, symbolising the
end of the season. Very appropriate.
Thanks Mike. I'm so glad you enjoyed them. It has been a wonderful season for me, and I really appreciate all of the comments you have given to me throughout the series. It means a lot to me.Your Vermont October Vacation album is excellent by the way. Love the
tractors.
LOL Eduardo. They will be here before we know it! Thanks so much for all of your comments during my Fall series of photos. I am so glad you enjoyed them and it means a lot to me that you took the time to stop and comment. Thanks very much Carol, yours was a beautiful, gentle, photo summer.
Now, wait for your cold pics.
What can I say RL except thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are so inspirational and supportive and I really appreciate all of the feedback you have given me throughout these series of photos. I remember how emotional you were during your big birthday a few months ago.....and tonight I am feeling the same way you felt at that time. I am so passionate about my photography and I'm so appreciative for all that I have learned and for all of the kind people here who have touched me in one way or another....and you're right up there on the top of the list. Thank you so much!!!!!Beautiful..the whole series! (^O^)
Thank you so much for stopping to comment. I really appreciate it, and I appreciate all of the comments you have given during my latest whirlwind of photos.HI Carol, I enjoy them very much. Love the first one - my favorite.
Here's two word three times:Just three words.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful.
Yup......you know your trees!!!!!!I like the backlighted one called "... reflections..." Something is
pleasing to me when the maples leaves are set off by the dark trunck
of a big maple. (I am assuming that was a maple grin ).
LOL.....I do too!!!!Outstanding, colorful shots Carol. I hate to see it end.
Thank you Trevor. You usually don't comment on my posts.....I know you only comment on subjects that you like......so thank you very much for stopping to comment on the gull. He actually has a broken foot, but he seemed alright......he wasn't in distress.....I think I was more distressed than him when I saw it. Hopefully he'll be ok. I guess better a broken foot than a wing. The fall cours are beautiful but iI have to say the light on the
second R B Gull is beautiful as well.
