Most "video" reviews are 90% or more talking heads, with little footage from the camera. This is fine for learning about camera specs, what it looks like, settings etc. But not so much for image quality - including stabilization, audio (particularly stereo audio, which is almost never used), color, dynamic range. Other videos are for activities that almost no one of us will ever partake in: sky diving, jet skiing, mountain biking, jumping off a cliff, or going to Kyoto. And shooting ourselves talking while walking around, hiding most of what is around us. Settings for the videos shot are also mostly absent.

In this 4K 60P video I take advantage of the tiny form factor and ability to attach to anything metal to use a shopping cart as a dolly and then take the camera outside and use it like any action cam handheld. It was sunny and bright with deep shadows and white clouds against a blue sky, so a challenge for dynamic range. I walk and run with the camera, I record some live music that was in the park; everything in stereo.

Settings: Standard color, Low sharpness, Low stabilization, Megaview, auto WB, ev -0.3, matrix meter.

How about the Insta360 software? My understanding was the video file is in a proprietary format that covers the full 360 view and you need to "edit" the resolution/view. I was paying attention to the new AntiGravity A1 that was just announced and assumed it would use the same software (or copy of it).

Is the software intuitive? Was it fast to process the view and angle you wanted?

The Go Ultra is not a 360 camera. It is a modular action cam with one lens. All of the stills and video clips it produces are standard, and can be read by any software and operating system. The insta360 software is not needed. And I do not use it. The video was edited in daVinci Resolve.

insta360 is the unfortunate name of the company, which produces both 360 cameras (and a drone) and non-360 action cameras, including the Ace Pro and Go series.
