Neat. It's like a Roach Motel for mice.
Certainly a better fate than the one which befell the mouse in our pantry.

LOL, love your humor, HansSuperb! Because of the shadows, I like "Say Cheese" best, but the series tells a tale. Did you take the mouse into the countryside and bid it a fond farewell? Or just a farewell?
Hans
Oh how cute (yes, I really think so!!!). I'm so glad that you let it go.
I'm with Ella, the 3rd image is fantastic!! It's the lines of the cage plus their shadow really frames the cute little prisoner.
What a most interesting trap Bruno. Great series. Add my vote for #3 for the same reasons.
At least the poor bugger got to eat the cheese before you sent him on his way.
Thanks for sharing.
The pleasure is all mine, Jon - thank you for stopping by and commenting.. would dare to say; you are seeing the images also by your heart - (almost hearing the little fellow to be released,A very interesting series from you Bruno. The 3rd & 4th image are my favorites. I like the macro of the mouse clinging to the cage. Can almost hear it saying "Let me Out" . Thanks for sharing.
Jon

Great series Bruno... I like it when I see a story behind a few shots like this and you really know how to do that. These images look so good that I have an LX100 I would like to trade you (even up) for your LX7, what do you say?
First picture taken with on board flash, little fellow (some 5cm/2inches "big") paid no attention to flashes? Got trapped next day in broad daylight, LOL Was "kicked" out of the house and did never come back,..

Great series, Bruno. that is a most unusual but effective mouse trap!

Thank you for stopping by, Dave and thanks for good words, LX5 is a true gem,Great photos, Bruno, individually (esp no. 3) and collectively. You really get great results from the LX5.
Dave.
Thank you for looking and commenting, Snapa.. all shots were taken with 5 years old LX5!! .. I can trade the camera but I can't trade the "skills" and this is what makes the picture,Great series Bruno... Actually Bruno... I made that offer in jest since I do not own the LX100, nor would I ever on one. I just wanted to see if you felt the need to trade your excellent LX5 for one. I currently own a ZX-2 and would not trade it for two LX100's. I've seen quite a few threads lately with images, like this one. The lower left hand corner and top of the 4th picture really has some strange issues going on with it. I refrained from asking or making any comments about those images, out of respect to the OP, since it’s not his fault. The other problem I noticed was that I ‘Could Not’ find the point of focus in any of those images. Usually, I can find where the focus point is in a picture, but with the LX100 I can't. That is the thing that troubles me most about that camera, besides about 10 other things.Thank you for looking and commenting, Snapa.. all shots were taken with 5 years old LX5!! .. Best regards, Bruno
Such a great story behind this capture, Bruno! And how lucky to catch him in the act of entering the trap. Look for more though. I had a family of nine I had to get rid of, (wish I would hav had a trap like yours) that's why I got my Molly. Love all the shots!! Excellent job!!![]()
That's the fanciest mousetrap i've seen Bruno! Mine in storage are far less friendly! Better take a watch these breed like a plague! Lovely images the last one made me laugh!
Now the mouse looks fat! You should not feed him so much cheese! Bring him to the mountains for training/ exercise!
