** Novice ** I am trying to scan an old negative and get a split image. I've tried adjusting document size and target size with no effect. I've also tried to reposition the negative in the tray. Below is a screen capture of the result I get regardless what size I've selected or where located in the tray. I would be grateful for any help.

How big is the negative? Epson usually has a "film area guide" that can be used for large items so unless it's an enormous neg you can use that, place the neg directly on the glass, and scan it all at once.

I think there’s a option on EpsonScan to scan the entire area as a single image. You can then cut out the part of the image you need.

I think there’s a checkbox called thumbnail, uncheck it and you’ll get the marquee view
