Roger Carter has posted a great list, as used by Phil for his CD300 review (page 4), a list of sources for the CD-R and CD-RW in the 8 cm or 3 inch variety. I've just been keeping my eye out for other sources of the same as I would use them for storage or e-mailable packages of pictures and movies.

Here is what looks like a good one:

CD Media Corporation

Anyone had any experience with them, good or bad? I'm considering ordering from them. Like the website and the prices. Waddya think?

hi Ulysses, i never played with the smaller size CD-R and CD-RWs. I just bought a CD-RW drive at 12x10x32x and going to use it to store my S-75 pictures. i would look forward to use these smaller sized CD-Rs because they are a whole lot easier to carry and fits just about right amount of pictures per occation. please keep us updated if you get a chance to try it.

thanks,

Jacques

Here's a different place to get some. Right now they are out, but they get them in frequently. I've been using them for quite a while and they work great. I've used them upto 8x recording(my limit).

..Are you sure you're not abandoning the F505V in favour of a CD300??

Your public want to know!

Ulysses, did you buy your mini CDs from these guys, or somewhere else?

I guess it's about time for me to start stocking up on the ones that work in the cameras, since my non-technical husband has decreed that I can buy any digital camera I want - as long as it's one that uses CDs! Now (shhh) I have to start another secret savings plan so that I can buy a digital SLR when my savings and their prices reach the same level.

Thanks,
Tricia

Heheheh.... how did I miss THIS post?

Well, I dunno. I'm hearing that the CD300 is actually a "favorite" for some people. It just may handle better and take better pics than a lot of folks might think. :)
