I have a Sony A7RV in a Nauticam housing with a UW-Technics flash/strobe trigger and have now paired this with a Canon 8-15mm Fisheye f/2.8 using a Sigma MC-11 adapter. Without there UW-Technics trigger connected the system works perfectly. However in the housing with the Trigger connected to the hot shoe there is an unacceptable ~2 second shutter lag. All kit has the latest Firmware updated. This lag is independent of the focus type and even when the shutter mode is set to "Release" and not "Focus". I bought the UW-Technics trigger as it syncs at 1/250s and is a HSS unit, while the Nauticam trigger is only 1/200s. Has anyone got experience with this and solved the problem?
I also tried replacing the Sigma adapter with a Metabones EF-E adapter and while this does not have any shutter lag it has excessive focus hunting, which is unusable and just as maddening!
