Sharpening using Capture NX

That's true.

There are times when I'd like to use the control points to define a selection for other effects, too. I guess I'll have to ask Nikon about adding that in the future!

Well, when you do, you can tell them there's at least one other avid NX user out there who'd love to see that added feature (along with greater stability, speed...you name it!)

Great question! I also downloaded Capture NX over the weekend and had the same concerns about the sharpening. I will try some of the techniques that have been stated and see whether they work for me. Thanks everyone for the advice!
