So far about 20 people have requested the document and I really appreciate the interest as I put a lot of time into it.

Thanks to Vitee and to ex Foveon Marketing Manager Rudy Guttosh for their help/suggestions/input.

One thing I did not discuss in processing considerations and quirks. But you will learn about them as you go along.

Although my hit rate is low as far as keepers go, it is really great to see an image with no noise in the shadows. A lot of truth from whomever made the comment about sharpening the noise and confusing it with detail

I think you've hit all the main pieces.

In my opinion, the most important part is to wait for the last shot. I've got several X3I files where I was sure the exposures were done, and I started moving the camera, and the last shot is useless.

If you haven't gotten a copy and are waiting, contact me as I am under the impression I have responded to everyone. I have gotten 30 or 40 requests which is a lot more than I expected.

The DPQ series has no lag like the C and the Q.

I am going to start a perpetual (at least for a while) thread discussing SFD pros and cons cons, processing recommendations and hosting samples.
