same picture using new portrait control compared to DX2II

Well I like the first one with more contrast for this pic. Considering the mood in the picture, maybe black and white would be a good effect for it.

The second photo looks washed out, or an extra thin film of wax paper was placed in front of her.

The first photo, her eyebrows are sharper/darker as is her hair. Better contrast.

I think the 2nd one (portrait) does some good things and some bad things, it reduce the overall contrast by pushing mid tones up, that reduce some volume in the hair and facial factions, I dont think that last part is some thing that I really whant in a portrait, but at the same time it lights the eyes and that is some thing that I allways end up doing in PP, so is just one more option that could work for some kind of portraits but not for all, such is life.
And yes it push the reds too much for my taste too.
Best
Luis

I already have the three D2X modes downloaded. I then downloaded the new Portrait mode without difficulty.

I'm trying to put in the new Landscape mode but am having trouble. It acts as though it will only hold 4 of the downloaded modes.

Could someone help me here?

Thanks,

It does only hold 4 downloaded modes. You will have to delete one to make space for both of the new ones. D2X mode II is the most common one folks delete, but it will depend on your usage.

How did you put these together, in NX?

All three are the same shot.
