OK I'm not sure if this is even the right forum but!

I loved my S100fs so much that I've dusted it off to use as a second camera to my D7000. Crazy? Nah I like the S100fs's light weight and fixed zoom lens. Not to mention it does a more than ok job. And I hate seeing it sitting all lonely on the shelf.

So my question is - What RAF converters are there that I can use? I'm still using s7raw. Is this still the go to converter? Or is there something 'better' out there. I use ASP for my NEF files but it wont recognize a RAF file.

regards

I use Silkypix for everything, including my S100fs. It does a great job on my D700 files, too.

Silky is especially good if you like to clean up the barrel distortion and CA which occurs freely with the S100fs. Two sliders cover CA, while 1 normally does the geometric part to a T.

I prefer and use Raw Therapee... easy to use... great results... and it is free.

Occasioinally, I will use Oloneo which I also prefer to many other raw converters, but I can't recommend fully because I think the price is slightly high. If you are also using Oloneo for HDR and multi-exposure denoise... and multi-exposure relight... then it is worth the price.

The S100FS is still the best bridge camera out there, in my opinion. I still use mine regularly in between using dSLRs. Great cam!

I tried quite a few converters and found that DxO handled my needs just fine. I have DxO for other cameras and it handles some strange distortions better than others...probably wouldn't spend the money for just handling the s100fs files but then again it knocked the pf/ca out in high contrast back lit scenes.
