It is truly an excellent fit. It pretty much looks like it was designed for the DP2. (It wasn't.)
I wouldn't want toi cut it...

(So far, they only make the paralel shade in the 2.5" size, internal measurement, and that happens to be right for the DP2.)

That's great Mikee. Glad that you love it; I still do very much.

Also good that someone else can validate my recommendation. This really is a great accessory.

Hi Chebb,

I have never used the DP1. However the DP1 has the same camera body design and the same 2 1/2" LCD screen as the DP2. So the answer certainly is yes.
