Replacing my Dimage 7

Thanks for the advice, I'll try looking into the card slot and format the card.

The only reason I took a chance on the A2 was because if it didn't work I could sell the lens shade for almost what I paid for the whole lot , sell the camera and batteries for parts , and keep the bag because I have a use for it .

So nothing to lose , just got lucky . :-)

Other words to avoid a purchase are ones like "mint" , "Minty" , "Just serviced" but with no evidence ( receipt etc ) and so on .

i don't usually by No Tested items either, my mistake this time. The camera came with 3 batteries and charger plus 2 other batteries for an A200 and charger, I don't know why the seller sent those since no A200 was involved.
The fact they have several items off other cameras in the same sale does suggest their clueless rather than dishonest .

Congrats on the nice find! Sometimes you get lucky. I know I've been more lucky than fooled with cameras.

Of a camera listing is listed as "untested" but includes the charger and battery it could also mean that the seller genuinely does not know anything about how to use the camera and is afraid they will "break" it. I am, however, very reluctant on purchasing any camera that is listed as "untested" when it uses AA or AAA batteries. They are just too easy to come by.
When the cameras got a battery and charger , you don't need to be an expert to charge it up and put it in the camera .

the on/off switch isn't hard to figure out , so so excuse to not do some testing .
