Just had my k10D serviced in the UK. 18 months old, and the shutter packed in after 15,000 or so shots. They charged me 130 of our british quids, including the viewfinder alignment and a sensor polish as well.
Took a few days to give an estimate, but I gave the go-ahead last friday afternoon, and it's back with me this morning. Not too shabby.
I was hoping they'd quote a bit more so I could concoct some pathetic justification for a k20d to the missus, but it is nice to have the old thing back. Mind, I've been using a DP1 since it broke, so I can barely lift the k10 now...
