Hi!
I am shooting with a D5. In my collection sits also a D700. And I thought that it will be a good remote camera. Considering that pocket wizards are still expensive (and somehow hard to get) i look for other solutions.
Yongnuo rf603n II seemed like the perfect solution. The kit contains 2 triggers + one 10pin cable.
With one trigger connected with the wire and the second one hold in hand, the system works.
But I want to trigger it when I press the shutter from the other camera, which doesn't happen, if I just put it into the hotshoe.
In pocket wizards videos I saw that the transmitter needs also to be wired to the camera so I bought another cable and connected it through the 10pin interface. The results were the same, no triggering when shutter button is pressed.
What am I missing?
