Red Sofa [1 Img + Setup]

Yeah, setup shots are always nice to see, and have helped me tremendously over the years on this site as well.

Great picture and thanks for showing how you made it. The ability to learn stuff from photographers such as yourself is what makes DPR such a great site.

Thanks. I've been branching out with respect to lighting techniques over the past couple of years. Things evolve. I just got an underwater housing unit and can't wait to start playing around with some underwater fashion. We'll see what it leads to.

Wow, absolutely love everything about this image, Would look wonderful in VERY large print on a wall!

Lovely, lovely, lovely. I love the composition, pose, delicate sensuality, color tones are just beautiful for the image, it comes together so well.

It looks 'classic' image, could see it as a master painting.

Funnily enough, I also like the 'setup shot', a crop with the background tapestry cropped to just below the lighting /bar would also work nicely I think. But without the sunglasses yes, and the head relaxed also, as in the first one. That would work nicely too, I think.

Thanks for sharing this lovely image and do something with this, print / sell, agency, whatever, I love it. This is a keeper / showpiece in my humble, amateur opinion.

Oh and.....beautiful model.

Just one word:

Excellent !

I think the image is wonderful from the way the dress is arranged to the way the colors work together. The contrast of the old (background, sofa) and new (model, flower) is enjoyable. My quibble is with the dark mass of hair--if only just a little extra light could show some detail and color there.

Checked out your facebook link. Love your images. Sensuous classy and delicate, beautiful work.

Wow, thanks Bajerunner! The setup shot really wasn't meant for anything other than illustrating the setup. But glad you like it.

Thanks, yeah the hair. Price I pay for a one-light setup. Maybe I should've placed a reflector toward it.
