Raw + L?

Is there a problem with Raw+L mode or maybe im doing something wrong but isn't it supposed to take a raw shot and a jpg of the same image?

Which camera do you have?

On the 350D it does... you'll have a .CR2 and a .JPG on the memory card. With the 300D I believe the Large JPG is embedded in the RAW. And I believe you have to install the hack to get RAW + L on the 300D.

Could be wrong, but but I think the 300D gives you RAW + L by default, but with the hack you can choose RAW + S.

I have a 350D and what it did was make 2 Jpg's instead of a raw+jpg.
It was liek IMG_2022 and IMG_2022(6)

Not sure what the deal is with that.

I guess my question is... When in Raw+L mode does the camera record a cr2 and jpg file? Mine is making 2 jpgs and one has a slightly bigger files size but not by much.
