Quick doubt: FF comparable Asp-C lenses

The lenses are not equivalent, but the field of view is.
Should I have said they are equivalent in terms of their field of view? That's almost always what is meant when two lenses in different formats are described as "equivalent".

Batis is the closest you'll come for FOV, but if speed is your priority, then the sigma Art 20mm f1.4 might be worth looking at. A little narrower (which with UWA is not insignificant), but a lot faster.

If today I have the SEL16F28(16mm F2.8mm) and i wanted to have something with the same "angle of view" for my future full frame.

The SEL28F20 could be a Lense with the same "angle of view" but much "faster" F1.2 vs F2.8?.

Regards.

Jaime.
An APS-C 16 mm f/2.8 lens is equivalent to a full-frame 24 mm f/4.2 lens.

A full-frame 28 mm lens would not be quite as wide.
The lenses are not equivalent, but the field of view is.
Thanks. So I understand that the angle of view could be equivalent. with the 1.5X crop factor.

However regarding Aperture I'm not quite Sure.

a APS-C sensor with a 16mm 2.7F lense would receive the same amount of light than a Full Frame Sensor with a 24mm 2.7F lense?

(asuming same exposure).

Or APS-C pìcture would be darker for example?.

We're slipping into the E-zone. Read this (several times, if necessary) and see if you still have questions:
