Be certain you have the most recent Qimage update. The latest, v2025, enhances the margins tool making it clear if the tool is active and what the margin settings are, which are user controlled.
Note that some printers dictate their margins on borderless printing, which Qimage cannot override. If your printer can print borderless, the margins tool in Qimage will let you control those margins.
By default, Qimage One will preserve all of the image data in the print size selected. This means if the aspect ratio of the print and image are different (they usually are) that one of the dimensions of the print may be shorter than the size selected.
If you want to completely fill the print size, turn Auto Crop ON. Auto Crop is found at the bottom left of the Prints tab.
You can change the default crop by right-clicking on the print on the Live View and selecting Crop Print(s) which will open the cropping window.
This tutorial video shows how to do this from about the 8:00 minute mark.
Borderless is a printer driver option. When set Qimage should pick up the borderless print dimensions from the driver and will crop and/or resize the image to fit them according to your instructions the same as any other print dimensions.
