Nothing...Other than Lightroom and Photoshop, what post processing software are you using?
I have DXO Photolab Elite, what does Photolab 2 do?DXO Photolab, just downloaded Photolab 2. BTW, I also have Lightroom, Photoshop, Photoshop Elements and older versions of Nikon software. Mainly use Photolab.
Did you have to pay for the upgrade to version 2? I have the elite version and they want $70 to upgrade which seems excessive for 10 month old software.DXO Photolab, just downloaded Photolab 2. They added a photo library and clear view plus. I think they have also refined the U point technology.I have DXO Photolab Elite, what does Photolab 2 do?DXO Photolab, just downloaded Photolab 2. That doesn't seem excessive to me at all for significant upgrades. In fact, that seems like peanuts (a very good deal). Compare that to what you would pay for an upgraded camera or lens to improve your photos.Did you have to pay for the upgrade to version 2? I guess these upgrades aren't significant to me. Hence my hesitation in upgrading. That doesn't seem excessive to me at all for significant upgrades. For reference Adobe Lightroom costs $9.99/mo every month from now until eternity as long as you wish to be able to edit your photos.
Then, the beauty of this type of upgrade model is that you can skip the upgrade if it's not useful to you. I don't see what the beef is here. That's a very reasonable upgrade price. The alternative model is what Adobe is doing which costs you a lot, lot more and continues to cost you forever as long as you want the ability to ever edit your images again.I guess these upgrades aren't significant to me. My main workflow starts with LR and PS. I use the following for additional specialized work:Other than Lightroom and Photoshop, what post processing software are you using?
digikam and darktable. Both are open source.Other than Lightroom and Photoshop, what post processing software are you using?
Good point, I use the stand alone light room but will not subscribe to the monthly payment. I like light room but I am using dxo photo lab elite most of the time now and its very good at most things. I can always after processing in dxo export into light room for some things that are better. Then, the beauty of this type of upgrade model is that you can skip the upgrade if it's not useful to you.
