And so we learn in a quick and simple way that almost everybody has a + - pocket-camera besides a DSLR, so there is no need for bashing the owners of single non Dslr...héhéhé.

But the main goal of this thread was: Graphs, polls, in a simple way, without a lot of words.

And to show real graphs, there is another possibility: the use of '---------', ex. frome one '-' to ten '-'.
I give an example to start with just below.

The question is, how much percent do you use your DSLR compared to your pocket camera? 70% = seven'-'. Or how many points do you give the G7?

I hope this possibility to obtain real graphs is taken over by someone who's native language is English, because mine is not, and I am afraid that not everything is clear...
But now I am going to answer the following question:
how much percent do you use your DSLR compared to your pocket camera?

Did at first - DSLR for small, close birds, digiscope for ,more distant birds, P&S for landscapes and macros. But crops from the 20D & 100-400 were roiughly equal in quality to full-size shots from the scope & Canon A95, so I dropped the scope in favour of the SLR.

Then I was no longer happy with the quality of the landscape shots (compared with the SLR), and the frustrations of doing macro work with the slow shutter response and eratic focus of the digicam (Nikon Coolpix 4500). So I bought a second 20D.

Bottom line: I'd love to use a digicam for the non-telephoto stuff, especially if it fits in a pocket, but the IQ just doesn't cut the mustard. (Maybe I should look at the latest models, see what they can do.)
