Please OM System, can I haz CP function button?

The “new” OM-5 Mark II got a new menu and CP function button. So, I wonder if OM System will be nice to OM-1 (Mark 1 and Mark II) owners and give us a firmware update with the CP function button. The OM-3 has it, so I can’t imagine it would be too difficult to add it to the OM-1 Mark II at least since they share the same hardware. It may seem trivial since you can assign each computational feature to a function button but it would be nice to have all of them in a single function button instead.

So what say you OM-1 owners, would you like to see OM System add the CP to a function button (like the OM-3 and OM-5 Mark II) via a firmware update?

Don't count on it.

What you will get instead is OM-1 III with the same sensor and image processor as OM-1 II but it will have a brand new CP button which of course will make the whole camera brand new. And for the modest price of, say $3000 you can have that brand new button ;-)
