My plan was to shoot a series of today's partial solar eclipse with the 150-450.
But - the cardboard "neck" of my solar filter is one or two mm too tight for the lens. So back to 55-300 PLM + 1.4 Teleconverter.
Then I made the mistake to set the Camera to AV - resulting in much too long exposures.
Took me some time to notice ...
And then I failed to check the focus for each single shot though I had to adjust the direction of the camera now and then.
Long story short - in the end I had three half decent pictures ...
