I've done some tests with batteries and battery grips of my G9s. Having successfully determined the nature of the problem I decided to check for the shutter count of both cameras – just for my insight on how long would my shutter count operate.
Nothings fancy – just the regular procedure from the web. Done that a lot.
My first camera showed ~197K shtcnt as expected. But the second one showed only 700 actuations!
It's impossible because I remember that figure was like 70K a month ago!
I've tested it by making several shots, turning off and on and diving into temporary service mode again. The shutter count incrementally increased but the number is far from what it should be.
Is it possible that I've somehow reset the count? I've read it's only possible if the camera is sold as refurbished.
