P950 vs P900: 2 buffer questions

Hi All,

I have been using a Nikon P900 for a year or so now for casual bird photography, and am generally liking it.

The biggest drawback I experience with this camera is the 3-4 seconds that the buffer takes to clear after a full burst of photos. I am weighing up an upgrade to the newer Nikon P950.

My questions: does the P950 have a faster-clearing buffer? and, is the buffer depth any different to the P900?

I have the P1000 and buffering vs P900 is faster!

Thank you - that is probably a good indication of the P950's capabilities, since the P900 was released in 2015, the P1000 in 2018, and the P950 in 2020.
