Good morning. My Olympus OM-D E-M10 II has been behaving strangely for a couple of days and I was wondering if anyone had had similar experiences (I've been searching on the forum and online for two days without success). The camera focuses smoothly, shoots but saves a completely black image. I tried saving the file in all available formats without the problem being resolved.
I opened the file with LR and it's a black image. It reports all shooting data regularly, but the image is black.
The most incredible thing is that the camera saves videos perfectly, so the problem is only on photos. I also shot with silent shutter (which therefore does not open and close the mechanical shutter) and the photos come out perfectly. I tried removing the lens and the shutter is still open. When I click it closes and opens without problems, but it probably does it at the wrong moment.
The symptom is accompanied by a progressive slowdown of all the software (longer startup time and freezing on some menu screens for tens of seconds).
I did the hardware reset (not simply the one from the menu), I tried all the shooting programs, I changed the SD with a new one, I completely recharged the battery.
Thanks so much.
