Taking a two week trip to Italy in May and looking to get one of these before I go. The support on the Nixvue product sound super. Also sounds like the Archos product won't be released now until end of March.

Anyone have any comments on Archos support on MP3 players?

Anyone know if archos has 110-220v transformer?

Any suggestions on where to buy Digital Album? Good prices?--Rick

Where do you get that end of March? I noticed just today they have prices finally ( http://www.archos.com/us/products/product_jbmm.html ) on the package deal. Can't order online yet but if they are anything like Palm you will be able to buy the unit at CompUSA prior to it being offered on the web!

I persoanlly will go for the Archos. I wanted an LCD to display pictures, and the ARchos does this plus can handle mp3's, an added bonus. Archos is a well known company as well. Just my two cents worth.

I didn't really mean you, I meant why would anyone do that/
I am guessing they sell it separetly because some people may not need it right away.

Perhaps they get just the MP3 player, then 6 months later get a digital camera/need the photo module. Or they get the camera module bundle and also want the photo module.

I got the end of March from their sales dept. The info I had from gleaning the web indicated end of Feb. When that passed I emailed their sales group and end of March was what I got back.

The Archos only takes CF or SM, is there a CF or SM adapter for the Sony Memory Stick? I'm stuck with the stick and not many options for mass storage choices. Didn't know about these toys before I bought my camera.

I would be surprised if there is not an adapter that works well out there, and isn't too expensive. I know nothing of this product, but a quick search at google.com turned up: http://www.carry.com.tw/products/CF_adapter/cma.htm

And there's two different modules, the CF and SM. If you bought one, you may want the other later.
