Great camera but if it breaks, expect to spend several weeks and high shipping charges and multiple tries to get it fixed/replaced.
Mine broke after 2-3 weeks and Sony's repair service has been extremely slow, expensive, and last-century in the way it is structured and operates (many poor souls on the frontline that have no authority, little access to information, and with varying ability to speak your language.
It calls into question whether Sony can push the technology as they so admirably do, and still do it with field reliability. The experience has made me rethink my views on the tried and tested brands that maybe are 6-12 months behind but I had a much better experience with them.
I wish field reliability were a topic that this site tracked so we could be better informed on the trade off between leading edge technology and dependability.
