Now, I will put a disclaimer that I'm not a big HDR buff. But just like every other fresh baked DSLR owner I tried some HDR with photomatix. As always with me, C&C is welcome and encouraged.

This one is from Meteora:

Here's one from Athens:

And finally a really overdone psychedelic one that I took in Thessaloniki:

I like the first two. The third of the cart has too much contrast and is overexposed for my taste.

That shadow in no2 ....raised a bit of concern, am sure I heard a scream and even my dog ran out of the room.

Are you sure he didnt move between shots ...maybe just a few inches.

I know what happened and perhaps you are correct. See the link below for the Doctor Who episode "blink". Now this is creepy. The statues are alive...
I dont watch Dr Who ...used to but saw that one episode and the behind scenes they did afterward.

That was the freakiest thing I ever watched ...tried to not blink too but if it was the OPs pic, trust me .....I would tape my eyes open and but a book down the back of my trousers.

Great job on the landscape - it looks really sharp. Print worthy for sure.

apologies ...its just that it is a favourite of mine ;)
