Multi Burst and Sharpness on H5

Hi, first i would like to thank everyone on the STF for their help, i am trying to Kick off the ground and Fly to discover a whole new World .. the H5

Multi Burst mode, what does it do? i read the Manual and didnt understamd the:

"Records 16 frames succession as a still image file", and i took an image and didnt notice anything.

Sharpness Adjustment in Photoshop to my understand means fixing each pixel to look smoother, but on an H5, what does it do? should i keep it Normal?

It takes a little "stop action" movie. Play it back in the camera and you'll see it sequence through the frames. You can adjust the timing between frames also.

Sharpness Adjustment in Photoshop to my understand means fixing

i keep it Normal?

I keep it set to Normal. In-camera sharpening is a lot less aggressive in the H5. In the H1, I had to set it to ( - ). I hate those pesky sharpening halos.

I prefer to sharpen in Photoshop. (The image will look "Sharper" though, not "Smoother")

Multi burst takes 16 low resolution pics and places them into a single 1mp jpeg.

When viewed in camera, the 16 shots are played back like a mini movie but when the jpeg is viewed in an image editor or simply in IE then you see the full photo as a 4x4 grid of small photos.

When you say "Image viewed in IE" you mean using the browser? am not aware of a way to view pics using my Internet Explorer Browser, i use windoes Picture and fax Viewer most of the time.

Sure. Or to analyze a golf swing. It's fun. And it's fun sharing (on the screen with friends). Just keep in mind that it isn't really a "photographic" tool, more of a novelty.

You can use this software to divide the individual images (but they'll be quite low res of course)...

On my computer jpegs are associated with IE -> iexplore.exe

If you want to do the same then, right click the jpeg,click "open with" and select/browse to the program to use, in this case, iexplore.exe

Tick the alway use box to make it permanent.
