Mixed Files on CF/Microdrives

Can different types of files (image and MP3) be stored on the same CF card or Microdrive?

And can they be played on my the MP3 player or image viewing software without the other files getting in the way?

Shouldn't be a problem, as long as you don't interfere with the directory created by the digital camera.

Having a couple of MD 1Gb's, I was about to buy a Zip drive for transferring smallish files between computers.. HaHa...How funny!

(I use the MD instead!)
