... heard of the Spruce Goose or know who Howard Hughes was... Also, you are correct it only had one very short flight and was totally made of wood skin just like a model plane.

Hehe, clear, but I saw recently a movie about him (Di Caprio) and was so impressed with his work, that I crawled all Wikpedia links about him and his aircrafts. Now I am wiki-clever. :-)

Here are my three submissions, the first two are taken using the humble 55-250 and the last one using the 18-55 IS.

Interesting catches 1 and 3.
The shadow on 1 could be good sign for Heron Airlines, if on both wings.
Recover soon.

"Boat in motion"

This came out pretty close to what I wanted (except for the tilted horizon :-(), I wanted the boat, the men and the foreground as silhouettes with better detail in the clouds and water. Hope you like it. Taken on a cheapo Walgreens film and processed/scanned at Walgreens too.

I don't think I need to explain what's in motion here. ;-)

Its been a while since I entered my modest entries...thought of restarting in 2011

The Eagle has taken off !!

The selective color shot that didn't need any PP !!

Couple more that might fit.

My two kids and my two nephews spelling out our name with sparklers, trust me, they're in there somewhere. Probably could have done a better job but they lost interest really fast.

At a golf tournament my company puts on each year. No, I can't golf, I took pictures. It's tough getting the club hitting the ball. I got one with the ball a couple inches from the club but it was quite the little white blur.

Feel free to let me know how I can improve.
