Help me out ohh wise ones. Where can I find the floppy adapter for the Sony memory stick. I jumped the gun and bought the F55 before the F505 came out..so I have to rely on the slow transfer rate of the serial port.
Thanks

Paul,

I bought mine at Vaiodirect, it was the only site that had them in stock when I was looking. Cost is $99.95

http://vaiodirect.sel.sony.com/

Go to the index at the bottom of the page, then look under F for floppy.

For those with the floppy adapter, how does its transfer speed compare to that of the PCMCIA adapter and serial cable?

I just ordered one from onsale.com. Dont forget, they charge sales tax depending which state you are from. With free ground shipping, it is still cheaper than buying from Sony.

Bruce,

How does it work ? Does it exactly look like a floppy disk from Win98 or NT ? Or, do you need special device driver for that ?
Thanks !
