Hi Jeff,
I used the angle finder with the DR prime focus
on my telescope to image the recent lunar eclipse.
I found it to be quite handy with its 1.25x and 2x
settings.
I was fighting with trees so the focus may not be
exactly tack sharp, but I had no problem with the
angle finder and my telescope's focuser.
My problem lies with manually focusing with lenses.
I was told to read this thread when I recently started
a manual focus thread of my own.
I just did some "mini-tests" with the kit lens, manual
focus and focus confirmation and it does work, but
can be a bit time consuming to get focus where you
want.
The angle finder at 2x gave me a nice image scale
when I was using a 400mm lens, but as stated
above, had problems manually focusing.
The search continues.....

--It is just to tedious to do by hand. You sound like you have an
even bigger problem than I do. I was hoping someone would comment
on the angle viewer. I understand that it will magnify the image
and perhaps that would help us some. Maybe someone that has one
will help out.
Thanks for the reply.
