I have read the manual, but could not find the answer. I am forgetful and often forget to set the Power Switch to OFF.
Is it possible to set D90 to turn off COMPLETELY automatically (in order to save battery and to reduce wear & tear) after certain amount of time of inactivity (3 minutes, for example) if the Power Switch is left in the ON position?
Note: I realize that I can set Auto Meter-off Delay and Monitor-off Delay (Custom Setting c2 & c4, Manual pp. 179-180). But I am not sure if everything else is OFF and stop consuming battery (i.e., the sensor). For example, I notice that the LCD Control Panel remains on for a long time after other screens are off. May be some parts of the camera is still "live".
Thanks,
